To Table Blunt Amendment

Senate Amendment 1520  to S. 1813 to Amend the Affordable Care Act

Feminist Majority Supported a Nay Vote

The amendment, introduced by Senator Roy Blunt (R-MO), would have allowed any employer the ability to refuse to deny employees coverage for any  health care covered under the Affordable Care Act based upon the  employer’s “religious or moral convictions.”

The Senate rejected the amendment.
