Young people in Georgia are rallying to get out the vote and mobilize support for Michelle Nunn’s campaign for US Senate. Student organizers, with the help of the Feminist Majority, have launched a #Students4Nunn photo campaign in the state to help young voters share their stories and tell their friends why they’re voting feminist and voting Nunn this November – here are some of their responses.

Let's all vote in the midterm election! #students4nunn

In Georgia, the choice is clear. Michelle Nunn would promote a clean energy economy, believes in college affordability, supports equal pay laws, fights for workers, supports the Affordable Care Act, would push for common-sense immigration reform, believes in LGBT equality, and is a champion for women’s reproductive rights. Her opponent, David Perdue, opposes abortion, would perpetuate America’s failing immigration laws, opposes the Affordable Care Act, and supported Georgia’s constitutional ban on same-sex marriage. To make matters worse, his company was sued for gender wage discrimination.

But the race is close, and Nunn is a major right-wing target. Every voice and every vote in this race counts to keep women’s rights, civil rights, LGBT rights, and what’s right for students off the chopping block in this election. So much is at stake. The time to speak up is now!

You can vote for Michelle Nunn on Election Day, November 4, or vote early and in-person through October 30. Learn more about voting laws in North Georgia here. Learn more about Michelle Nunn here.
