A scholar and a legislator, Titus is a graduate of William & Mary College, has an MA from the University of Georgia, and a PhD in Political Science from Florida State University. Titus represented the District 7 in the Nevada State Senate for 20 years, serving as the Democratic Minority Leader from 1993-2008.
